Third-year students from the Department of Marine Electronics and Mechanical Engineering visit Japan Marine United Isogo Factory
On Tuesday, June 2025, 6, third-year students from the Department of Marine Electronics and Mechanical Engineering split into two teams, one for the morning and one for the afternoon, and toured the Isogo Factory of Japan Marine United Corporation. By experiencing the actual situation of shipbuilding and repair, the students were able to connect the knowledge they gained from lectures and practical training with the manufacturing site, and deepen their understanding. It is expected that this industry-academia collaboration will help them realize the connection between theory and society, which will help them grow in the future.
