Associate Professor Masato Endo has been conducting research on establishing a material-recycling aquaculture technology using plants and feed organisms, with the aim of promoting fish growth through environmental control technology and preventing the discharge of water pollutants into the natural environment, with the goal of improving facility-based aquaculture in fisheries. He has also started experimental research on space aquaculture, applying the research and development results obtained to food production in space habitats, and is currentlyJAXAThis has also been raised as a topic for consideration. Furthermore, as a member of the Land-Based Aquaculture Study Group Executive Committee and a director of the Aquaponics Promotion Association, he is dedicated to activities that connect industry, academia, and government.
