Our university is in the Reiwa era.7Years1In [month], in accordance with the wishes of Mr. Takayuki Oyama, a graduate of our university (formerly Tokyo University of Fisheries), who wanted to encourage research activities aimed at solving problems in various fields such as marine life resources, marine environment and energy resources, and marine engineering, we established the "Takayuki Oyama Research Encouragement Fund," and as one of the research encouragement projects undertaken by this fund,20Years30We have established the "Oyama Prize" to recognize outstanding researchers who will play a key role in the future of the ocean.
